   your hair can grow if you relax it. i always maintain that hair always grows, it never stops. it’s just that a lot of girls don’t maintain their relaxers, which results in more breakage, thus damaging their hair,often times, beyond immediate repair. i had a perm but was lazy and didn’t care for it, so now i’m natural, and that works for me, but in defense of the perm, i’ve seen people do the perm just fine without the excess damage. my pet peeve, though, is ragged ends. cut cut cut!

   wow, how is that possible.
   I have struggled growing my hair since january 2006, its 2010 now and it hasn’t even reached shoulder length….weird
   But, when i was 8 years old in 2000, I had dead thick long hair which when way beyond my shoulders. Today it’s just always falling apart right after I cut it years ago =(

    mizani never broke off my hair, i only used it 2x a year, my hair broke off from being lazy and not caring for it, i took better care of my indian remy weave then i did my own hair…
    this is why it broke off.

    well no wonder your hair was breaking off you were using mizani ..i am an assistant hairstylist and mizani is one of the top relaxers to break off your hair ..but it is also good now that you have gone natural aswell

    Everyone going on about natural hair being better. Please shut up. Its their choice if they want to relax it not yours. So get back to your own life and stop worrying about others!

    because chemicals cause too much damage to your hair. Even damage you don’t see. And its all about the versatility!!!

    people are beginning to see how beautiful natural hair is. i am currently 5 months post relaxer. and my hair is in MUCH better condition.

    i agree, i don’t regret cutting my hair at all
    it’s growing even faster, i can’t wait till i have a huge angela davis afro LOL

    @Gabbiie36 thats good for the fact that on average your hair grows aprox. 6 inches a year.

    wow…u really did good with ur hair..im dealin with mine also..its bin about 6 months n ive grown about 7 inches..
