A short clip demonstrating permantent hair removal using the highly effective Starlux intense pulse light device. Laser hair removal and Intense Pulse light devices typically take 6 treatments to clear unwanted hair. They work by treating the follicle growth region and eliminating the cells that generate new hair. Waxing and other methods typically sheer the hair shaft off and don’t give permanent results. Our treatment has minimal discomfort, and we recommend treating every 3 weeks to treat …

1ipl isn’t permanent. it only damages the hair follicles. an actual laser, like Candela, will kill the follicles and they don’t grow back. you’ll still get some growth, but that’s because you will have entered a different growth cycle. if you’re going to spend the cash and time, do it right from beginning to end. I did it and love it. arms, torso, back, neck, legs, you name it. running never felt so good.

7IPL is a waste and not proven to be permanent long term, it’s much better to stick to laser, like GentleLASE if you want permanent removal. Much more efficient and faster and doesn’t need messy gels. To another poster, laser IS permanent but reduction not removal. It will permanently remove the hair it treats, but it’s only called reduction because it can’t remove fine or lighter hairs. It doesn’t mean the hair will start coming back later on.

8In one decade technology will allow consumers to purchase units to use at home with the same power as units used by dermatologists.

9Why are you not listed on the site you provided?-?
What makes it different from Veet or Nair?-?
Why is it listed as Lazar treatment on other sites?-?
Is it true only a dr. can apply the treatment?-?

11It depends on area you are treating.
anywhere from 100-500 per treatment, usually 5 treatments needed.

14I use the lux gel. I did not record this in an effort to keep the video short. If it was for training purposes I would have. thanks, Dr. Grover.

17you are wrong, the particular hand piece being used DOES treat dark, black or even tanned skinned. Palomar makes the lux r and luxrs, for this skin colour, it filters out the melanin in skin and goes striaght to the hair shaft, literally

18im very conservative about the duration between treatments. 3weeks is not too late, they tell you to wait because they are allowing the skin to heal , but it depends on where your treating esp. the face which is very sensitive &should only be treated every 4-6 weeks. too much stimulation to the skin can damage your cell turnover &cause your skin to be damaged.

19honestly, electrology is very old hat. its a needle going in and out if every follicle and it is painful . home kits i would NOT reccomend because you dont know what your doing &those lasers would not be on the market if they were strong enough for anyone to use. theres a reason why people have to go through laser training . you dont exactly need gel for an ipl cuz your not gliding your pulsing and lifting.

20They will work permanently if you teat once a week before the cells in the shaft have a chance to regenerate. if u wait 3 weeks its too late. i treated one area for 6 months every week and the hair never grew back. that was 4 years ago. i tried all the lasers and ipls and they all do the same thing. its time duration that is key. but who can afford to go every week? no one unless you own ur own. i might try the the new tria or silkyn home units at once a week to see if they will work.

21I use either lux lotion or humatrix prior to treatments. this was applied, but not shown in video. helps with light transmission and comfort.

24there is no such thing as “permanent” hair removal as of today. The best thing u can experience is a long-term hair removal and permanent hair REDUCTION which is fine and way better than waxing and shaving …
